Building Regulation Applications
Property extensions and conversions require Building Regulations approval, even when planning permission is not necessary. Although this may sound complex, LM Associates can aid you in this process by providing a full set of working drawings and submitting any Building Regulations applications to our LABC Partner Authority, your local authority, or a private building inspector on your behalf.
What are Building Regulations?
Building Regulations and Working Drawings are a set of construction standards that are applied to any new development, extension or conversion. They provide clear specifications and a set of instructions as to how the property is to be constructed and proves that the development will comply with UK Building Regulations..
Once the submitted drawings have been checked and approved by your local authority or private building inspector a Full Plans approval certificate will be provided.
Our Expertise
Over the last 40 years, LM Associates have submitted hundreds of Building Regulation applications across Sussex, Surrey, Kent, London and Hampshire for a wide number of projects, from small single storey kitchen extensions to large multiple storey extensions. We are fully informed of the relevant legislation and can provide the necessary services to ensure Building Regulations approval.
LM Associates also have an LABC partner agreement with Mid Sussex District Council, this allows us to submit building regulations to MSDC Building Control wherever your site is across the country. This simplifies the process, enabling you to move forward with your project in good time.
